John Edgar is an award wining photographer with over six years of experience, having worked in Fort Frances, Barrie and Toronto. Originally from Thunder Bay, John moved to Scotland at a young age where he first started to hone his photographic skills. John later moved back to Canada; living in Fort Frances he used this opportunity to photograph the great Canadian north. Later moving to Barrie, he pursued his love of photography with a Diploma in Digital Photography and Imaging from the Georgian School of Design and Visual Art.
John came to Leschinski Design to update his studios image and develop a new website to showcase his award winning photos and interact with potential and current clients. The identity came from the clients signature, and once simplified created a nice simple mark. We applied the mark to the standard business collateral, and for the first time apparel.
The new site has garnered John Edgar and his photography international attention, thousands of hits in the first month online, and media coverage in magazines. His site sets him apart from many of his colleagues, who rely on inaccessible and intrusive designs to promote themselves, giving his audience the respect and comfort level they desire while working with John and enabling new potential clients to find his work.
