Clinical Depression (the funny kind)

20th Feb 2008 2 Comments

We’re proud to announce the launch of ClinicalDepressionShow.com, a New York Off-Off-Broadway one man show by Drew Wininger about his personal battle with depression. It’s unapologetically, honest and funny. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and learn more about this guy than you ever wanted to.

Ultimately, Drew’s goal is to entertain the depressed and non-depressed alike in New York and beyond. Then he could quit waiting tables. He’s also hoping to challenge the stigma surrounding mood disorders and help a few people along the way.

Leschinski Design partnered with Drew Wininger to develop ClinicalDepressionShow.com from concept to completion. If you happen to be in New York February 29th to March 8th this is a must see.

  • The design of the ClinicalDepression website is very well done. And I certainly can’t criticize an attempt to “challenge the stigma surrounding mood disorders and help a few people along the way.” But as somebody who has experienced a life-threatening depression (and struggles to prevent a relapse), I can’t imagine how such serious illness can be presented as being humourous.
